Catch up

What a long couple of months. With the colds, allergies and stuff that never seemed to end, we have taken a break from the basement to enjoy the holidays. The boys enjoy being sheet rock ghosts with the dust found down in the basement. We can't wait to have more space. During the summer we don't mind living on top of each other but baby, when it is cold outside, it seems pretty small on one floor.
After thanksgiving we(my brothers and sisters) decided together
for one day to see mom all together while she is finished her 3 month hospital stay. It was nice to be all together again.
Next we did some gingerbread houses with aunt sarah and uncle whitney. The kids are waiting for them to return from colorado so they can eat them. They are moving up to assist in the care of mom.
We set up the tree but couldn't get it decorated soon enough so michael and jonny took the project on by themselves and did a great job. Jonny placed them all in row, maybe I need to read the story to him again so he knows that it is the stockings that were hung in a row..hehehe.
Every day he asks if it christmas yet...then he counts the chains and stars left and sighs. Now that there are presents under the tree it is getting harder. I can't wait either for the excitment that the kids have on christmas morning. It is so infectious. Happy Holidays to All.

Love the elf video-that's one of the funnier ones that I've seen. Usually I find them silly and annoying but you picked good pictures that looked realistic-great job! it was fun and entertaining :-)

Great Job!!! It was great to get up there and see everyone before the weather turned.

Hey Chris!
I think that's wonderful you were all able to see your Mom together. I'm sure she treasures that moment.
Love the sheet rock faces, gingerbread houses and ornaments!
Precious!
