final vacation

I decided to end our summer traveling with one nore trip to minot to see my dad after his last chemo treatment and take the kids to the state fair to ride the rides. We picked a day that was cool and emily rode around in the backpack. jonny just hit the 42" mark to ride the rides with an adult, so he was enable to enjoy the rides as well. Ash was a little bummed that michael wouldn't ride the all of the thrill seekers with her, but she did get him to ride two...

some other photos I got:time went quickly and before you know, it was 730. time to head to grandpas and get something to eat. the kids had a blast and I am glad we were able to do this.

jonny spent his birthday this year at the lake with grandma and grandpa. he got sung to twice and got 2 cakes. he got a skateborad and decided to try it out. Thanks gma for the use of your helmet...

2 weeks

Emily is 2 weeks today. Ashley took this photo of her feet. Some things we love about her:

She sleeps for 3-4 hours at a time and doesn't wake up screaming.

Her personality is very relaxed and sweet.

She has a dimple on the left side.

Her smile is contagious even though it is just gas.

She has monkey feet.

She loves to hear Jonny's voice and can sleep though his ongoings.

Is a cuddler but loves to sleep in her OWN bed.

Michael is currently away enjoying his 1st boy scout camp. Jonny was so excited to have dad to himself, he chose to go catfishing on the river. While emily was taking a nap, I went down there and got this video.


Michael saved some fireworks to put on a little show sunday night since I was not able to join them for the 4th. He is busy running from the lit fireworks but I did capture jonny doing a light show.
Some of you are wondering where Ash is? well she has been MIA since she started dating and having friends(or as she says 'having more of a life'). It is good that she is out having fun as she has also been a big help these last months.

Emily was ready to arrive on thursday. When I went in for my induction I was already in the early stages. So Chris and I sat there for 4 hours in order to give the antibiotics time to work.
