panasonic dmc fz28

For our 17th anniversary we decided to upgrade our camera to 18x optical zoom. I wanted one that I could be near the action and still get the shots of the kids faces, needless to say I love it. This photo was taken at Turtle River State Park. We were standing on the opposite side of the river and down stream when Chris noticed the squirrel going for a drink. I snapped the photo then in post editing I saw the cool reflection. What a great zoom, definitly worth it.

weather fun

Cousin Katie stayed with us for a week and we had a hailstorm followed by a downpour. The street flooded for a short time and the kids got to play after the lighting was over. Katie and Jonny.

Tuesday, August 18

I returned to spinning at the beginning of aug. Missed it! Jonny was so exited to go back to the gym to play, he even went to bed early so he wake up to go. I guess he missed our routine as well. It is hard to believe that it has been six weeks since emily was born. The kids start back to school sept. 8 and our summer has flown by. We took lots of pictures but just haven't had the time to blog. Better luck next month.
