garage sale

earlier this summer michael and his friends had this hobby of checking our local garage sales....so jonny decided to give it a try. he is pretty much free to ride his bike up and down the street. I have been a little busy with emily and he came back ine day with christmas garland and a decorated bike. he was so pround he had done it all by himself...so his bike got put up for a while..."it only cost a quarter mom." The next day I was getting ready for the day and came out to find jonny gone. opened the door and called to him, he rounded the corner beaming..."look what else I got, a candle for halloween." I had him wait while I grabbed the camera, then we walked down the couple of houses and offered to pay the price they were asking. they said np as they loved his business and anything that didn't sell was going the good will anyway. after the "talk" i hope that this will be the end of buying days...but thought to cute not to post.

here are just a couple of pictures from last weekend. It was a lucky weekend for the kids because they got to hang with all of their grandparents.

jonny jumping off into the pool....michael was busy practicing the loch ness monster....ash just hanging in the hot tub while visiting with grandma and grandpa from the lake. emily in her blessing/christening gown and my dad putting her to sleep again...yeah...

bow opener is this weekend so chris and the boys headed out to hang some stands. can't wait for some jerky, sausage and hamburger...yeah!
